| A delegation led by Mr. Alderman David Lewis MA, the Hon Rt. Mayor of the city of London, along with Ian Luder, Sheriff of the city of London, Mr. Martin Hagen, Vice President, ICAEW, Ms. Jane Owen, Director, UK Trade and Investment, Mr. Jeff Glekin, Deputy Head of Mission Mumbai, & Mr. Graham Ward, Chairman, UK side of the Indo UK Accountancy Task Force had visited the ICAI on 21st of April’08 at ICAI Bhawan New Delhi and had met CA Ved Jain, President, ICAI and Dr. Ashok Haldia, Secretary, ICAI. CA. Kamlesh S Vikamsey, President, CAPA and past President ICAI also participated in the meeting.

| The meeting focused on fostering bilateral relations between Indian and UK Accounting profession. The delegates sought information on the current status of “Limited Liability Partnership Bill”, taxation on LLPs, role of Quality Review Board and rotation of Auditors in Indian context. The ICAI appraised the delegation on the Indian environment in context of the above issues.
