International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and Trustees of the IFRS Foundation are seeking applications for membership of following vacancies, after the terms of a number of its members expire at the end of 2016:

(A)   IASB position summary:

The International Accounting Standards Board (the Board) is a politically independent standard-setting board, appointed and overseen by a geographically and professionally diverse group of Trustees of the IFRS Foundation who are accountable to the public interest.
IASB is seeking to appoint up to two Board Members in 2016. Each member will serve an initial five-year term, which may be renewed for a further three years. The roles are full-time and are based in London. The members of the Board meet monthly to review and discuss new papers and projects.

(B)   Trustee position summary:

Twenty-two Trustees—six from Asia/Oceania, six from Europe, six from North America one from Africa, one from South America and two from any area of the world—oversee the Foundation and the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).
Trustees are currently looking to recruit for a number of vacancies that will arise at the end of 2016. The appointments will be for the period of three years. All terms may be renewed for three further years.
