Engagements of individual Chartered Accountants as consultants with Principal Director of Commercial Audit, Indian Audit and Accounts Department, Mumbai - (06-04-2010)

1. The office desires to engage CAs as consultants for a period of 11 months.
|
2. The Consultant will be required to assist this office in gathering and evaluating audit evidence within the framework of methods and techniques followed by this office which may be also at client’s sites/offices.
|
3. The Consultant will be attached to Audit Teams and/or Technical Section of this office.
|
4. The remuneration will be fixed at Rs. 30,000/- per month. No house rent allowance or conveyance allowance shall be payable. The Consultant will, however, be entitled to TA/DA while on tour as admissible to an Assistant Audit Officer as per Government rules.

5. The appointment of the Consultant may be terminated by giving one month’s notice. Similarly the Consultant may also discontinue the engagement by giving one month’s notice.
