As per Regulation 29(c)(iv) of the Chartered Accountants’ Regulations 1988, students who have registered for Practical Training on or after February 1, 2013 are required to complete Advanced IT Training before admission to the Final Examination. Hence all such students whose Practical Training commenced on or after February 1, 2013 and are eligible to appear in November, 2015 Examination are advised to complete the Advanced ITT well in advance before appearing in the Final Examination so as to avoid any hardship at a later date.

The fee for the Advanced ITT Course has been fixed at Rs.5,000/- per student, which shall be charged by the concerned Regional Office/ Branch. The classes for this course would be organized for 4 or 6 hours per day. The students are advised to contact their concerned Decentralised Office or Branch for registration to batches of the Advanced ITT Course and ensure to complete the course well in time.

As per the Regulations, the time spent by the students for undergoing Advanced ITT will be treated as a part of the training as period actually served under articles.

Students are advised to complete their Advanced ITT course by July 31, 2015 such that they can fill information regarding Advanced ITT course completion in the Examination Form to be filled in August, 2015, for appearing in the Final Examination in November, 2015.
