The members at large in this era of globalization would be keen to make forays beyond the nation frontiers. Of particular importance is the fact that the accountancy profession in general is under a regulated domain in majority of the countries. It becomes of paramount importance to assess the domestic regulatory environment at the respective country level so as to understand the structure of accountancy profession in different countries as also the nitty gritties of the accounting environment as well as the financial markets.
