Announcement regarding Assessment test of Certificate Course on International Taxation

1. Overall Scheme and Duration of the Course

Course Sessions and Self Study 100 hours (Around 16 days Training) Participants would also be required to devote time for self study. An assessment test is to be cleared (after completing minimum of 90% of course sessions) to be eligible to obtain the certificate.

2. Eligibility for Admission

The members of ICAI and the students who have qualified their CA final examinations but yet to obtain the membership number of the Institute shall be eligible to pursue this certificate course. However, the students who have qualified their CA final examinations but yet to obtain the membership number of the Institute shall be eligible for examination/evaluation only after getting their membership number from the ICAI. None other than the above are eligible for participating for this certificate course.

3. Course Fee

Rs. 25000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only). The fee is inclusive of first evaluation fees. In case, there is the need of second evaluation, rupees one thousand only shall be charged by the Committee.

4. Registration

Interested members can register themselves by making an online payment of Rs. 25000/- which is to be followed by the hard copy of the duly filled registration form to be sent to the Secretariat, CITAX. Alternatively, a Demand Draft of Rs. 25,000/- drawn in favour of 'The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India' payable at New Delhi can be sent along with duly filled registration form to the Secretariat, CITAX.

5. Schedule of the Course Sessions

The participants would be required to attend the course sessions on weekends (Saturday and/ or Sunday) from 10.00 AM to 5.30 PM. However, if Region/ Branch and participants desire to organise on any other day/time or on consecutive days then request is to be sent to the Secretariat of the Committee for appropriate approvals.

6. Minimum Number of Participants

Minimum no. of the participants should be 30. The Maximum no. of participants should not exceed 75.

7. CPE Hours

  • The participants of the Certification Courses would be eligible for CPE Hours under Structured Learning and Unstructured Learning as per the CPE Advisories on Structured Learning and unstructured Learning.
  • The CPE hours credit will be granted to the participants on the date of completion of the course.
  • No proportionate CPE hours would be allowed to the participants.
  • The maximum CPE Hours granted for the course would be as per the minimum requirement recommended by the CPE Committee for a Calendar year for the members in practice
