NOTE:- Chartered Accountants' Benevolent Fund: CABF was established in December 1962 with the objective to provide financial assistance for maintenance, and other similar purposes to needy members of our Institute, their spouse, widows, children and dependent relative. From 1962 to till 31st May 2024 an amount of Rs. 43.65 crores has been released. From September 2020 Rs. 9.86 Crores have been released as financial assistance for the treatment of Corona disease to members or their dependents.
With a view to providing better financial support to our needy members or to their dependents, we appeal to members to contribute voluntarily any amount for noble cause. The contribution is eligible for tax exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
