The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) through its Committee for Members in Industry & Business (CMI&B) has collaborated with Manipal Global Education (MGE) and designed Residential Management Development Programme. Keeping in mind the importance of managerial skills in today’s global economy, this 23 days programme aims to sharpen the skills of CA Final Rank holders in terms of managerial and leadership abilities. This programme is being organized at Bangalore campus of Manipal University from August 22 to September 13, 2019, and will be made available for the rank holders of CA Final Exam at a concessional fee. In addition, the course will conclude with a Special Placement Programme in which reputed organizations from all over the country would be participating.

ICAI, in order to keep pace with the changing trends and to provide best learning platforms to its students and members, is making efforts to provide exposure to the CA Rank holders with skills that will enhance their overall understanding of the business in addition to their strong technical proficiency. The sessions during the program will be delivered by experts from academia who have vast experience in various Institutes of repute and by the industry experts.

CA. Prafulla Chhajed, President, ICAI said “MDP is a dynamic training program that is designed to enhance and strengthen the leadership capabilities to lead, engage and excel in career. This programme would provide the participants with an opportunity to enhance existing skills and gain new ones.”

The President, ICAI added “ ICAI is offering 80% of the course fee as a subsidy and participants have to pay only 20% of the total Fee. For the Rank Holders (upto 50 ranks) belonging to the economically weaker Section, entire fee would be paid by ICAI”.
