The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), established under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, is committed to enhancing the professional competencies of its members by promoting domain-specific knowledge and industry-oriented learning.
The Members in Industry and Business Committee, jointly with the Members in Practice Committee, launched the "Xplore: Industry Training Series" on the 78th CA Day as a specialised initiative to provide Chartered Accountants with industry-focused learning and practical business insights across key sectors of the economy.
Following the launch of the inaugural sector under the Xplore series, the Committees are pleased to introduce the Xplore: Industry Training Series – FMCG Sector. The programme is designed to provide Chartered Accountants with practical insights into the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, including its business landscape, market dynamics, supply chain ecosystem, financial and operational practices, regulatory environment, consumer trends, and emerging business models.
The programme aims to strengthen industry-specific knowledge and enhance capabilities in finance, audit, taxation, compliance, risk management, strategy, business transformation, and advisory.
To support this initiative, the Committees invite Expressions of Interest (EoI) from experienced industry professionals, subject matter experts, academicians, and senior leaders in the profession who are interested in serving as Resource Persons for the FMCG Sector Training Series.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should preferably meet the following criteria:
- Possess significant professional experience in the FMCG sector or related domains, with demonstrated expertise in finance, operations, supply chain management, strategy, sales and distribution finance, regulatory affairs, taxation, risk management, audit, compliance, business transformation, or allied functions.
- Hold a senior leadership position such as CFO, Finance Head, Business Leader, Functional Head, Industry Expert, Academic, or any other equivalent role with substantial practical exposure to the FMCG sector.
- Have prior experience in training and speaking at professional forums, or developing knowledge content, which will be considered an added advantage.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to deliver practical, application-oriented sessions to a professional audience.
Preference may be given to applicants with specialised domain expertise, published work, industry recognitions, or significant contributions to professional education and capacity building.

Other Details
- Honorarium and other terms of engagement shall be as per the norms approved by the Institute and will be communicated to the selected Resource Persons.
- The Committees will evaluate all applications based on qualifications, experience, domain expertise, and relevance to the proposed programme. The decision of the Committees regarding empanelment and engagement shall be final.
