The President, in terms of the authority given to him by the Council at its 285th meeting held from 3rd to 5th February, 2009, and based on the recommendations of Chairman, Board of Studies has constituted the following Study Groups for the purposes mentioned therein :-

A.  Group for E-learning

  • CA. Dr. A.M. Sherry [IMT, Ghaziabad], Member
  • CA. R.L. Prakash [Chief Financial Officer, Tally Limited], Member
  • CA. Shailesh Kr. Agarwal [Infosys Ltd.], Member
  • Dr. B.V.R. Reddy [Prof. & Dean, University School of Information Technology, GGS Indraprastha University], Member
  • Shri K. Venkataramana [Addl. Secy.], Member
Dr. Nupur Prakash, Addl. Director, BOS shall act as Secretary to the above Group.

B.   Group for Educational initiatives and IT training

C.   Group for considering issues relating to permitting CPT students to appear in CA Final Exam during the last six months of their articles and reduction in the period of articles for PCC students from 3 ½ years to 3 years

  • Shri Krishna Kant, Member

Shri V. Sagar, Joint Secretary, M&SS shall act as Secretary to the above Group.

D.   Group for considering modalities including timeframe for implementation of mandatory coaching classes for Common Proficiency Test (CPT) students

  • CA. P.C. Sarda, Member

The aforesaid Group(s) would submit their Reports to the Board of Studies at the earliest possible.
