27th March, 2024

Dear Professional Colleagues,

Sub: Request for Suggestions by Committee for Aggregation of CA Firms, ICAI

The Committee for Aggregation of CA Firms (CACAF) is a non-standing Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). It has been formed to bring ease to the practicing firms in networking so as to tap the synergies of the combined strength and resources.

The Committee would review and strengthen guidelines relating to domestic and overseas networking, merger and demerger of firms, Multi-Disciplinary Partnerships, Management Consultancy Services (MCS) in corporate form among others to enable practicing firms to grow in size and expertise. This Committee would also make concerted efforts in obtaining recognition of networks and its various models by active interactions with related Government departments and Regulators.

One of the core visions of the Committee would be to leverage technology for aggregation of CA Firms. The Committee would also review the website, advertisement and mobile applications guidelines.

In order to understand the practical difficulties being faced by the CA firms in growing their practice, the CACAF of ICAI welcomes the views and suggestions of the practicing members on the aforementioned Guidelines to streamline the bottlenecks both at policy and procedural levels.

Kindly share your suggestions and views at https://forms.gle/wYee1RD4maqi3U5R8 by 5th April, 2024.

Chairman and Vice-Chairman,
Committee for Aggregation of CA Firms
