Request to fill questionnaire for SAFA Research Project titled “Accounting and Financial Reporting Framework for NPOs and Cooperatives in SAARC Countries: A Cross-Country Study”

Dear Member

We are happy to inform that Committee on NPOs and Co-operatives Sector of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) has been conducting a research project on the captioned subject where the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has been assigned to complete the project. This study aims to explore the possibility of establishing a unified accounting and reporting framework for Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) and Cooperatives across SAARC countries.

Now, as a part of this ongoing research work, a questionnaire has been prepared and it is requested to SAFA member bodies to encourage their members to submit responses for the said questionnaire.

Hence, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), a member body of SAFA, invites to submit responses which would help to complete the research work in a timely and effective manner.
