We are pleased to inform that the Member whose name is borne on the Register on 1st day of April 2024 and is entitled to Vote by Poll, the option to apply for changing the Polling Booth within region or outside the region for the ICAI Election 2024 will open on 25th October 2024.

Applicable dates for applying the option of Change in Polling Booth:

1. Within Regional Constituency:

Members may vote at any polling booth of their choice within their Regional Constituency, provided they apply online on ICAI Portal from 25th October 2024 onwards and submit their request on or before 21st November 2024.

2. Outside Regional Constituency:

Members seeking to vote at a city outside their Regional Constituency may apply online from 25th October 2024 onwards on ICAI Portal on or before 14th November 2024. This is permitted only if there is a change in the member’s professional address, or if the member is expected to be away from their professional address on the polling day.

It is also informed to the members that the option of changing the Polling Booth once exercised cannot be reversed. Therefore, we advise all members to carefully consider their options before exercising the option to apply for a change of booth within or outside regional constituency.

Please note that the Member will be entitled to cast for the candidates contesting from the regional constituency only to which he belongs irrespective of the city within or outside the constituency he has chosen to cast his vote under this facility.
