| ICAI Press Release ICAI organizes Management Development Programme for CA Final Rank Holders at IIM Kozhikode |
| The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) conducted an intensive Management Development Programme (MDP) for newly qualified Chartered Accountant rank holders at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. The programme was organised under the ICAI's Placement Directorate, in collaboration with IIM Kozhikode, from 23rd March to 1st April 2026. The 10-day programme was designed to equip CA rank holders with advanced managerial, leadership and strategic capabilities, complementing their strong technical expertise. The curriculum covered key areas including strategic thinking, business communication, corporate governance, artificial intelligence in finance, data analytics, business ethics, innovation and sustainability. Sessions were led by distinguished faculty from IIM Kozhikode through interactive discussions, case studies and experiential learning modules, helping participants develop broader business perspectives and strong decision-making skills. The programme received resounding appreciation from 133 participants from across the country. ICAI offers 80% of the course fee as a subsidy and participants have to pay only 20% of the total Fee. For the Rank Holders (upto 50 ranks) belonging to the economically weaker Section, the entire fee would be paid by ICAI. On this occasion, CA. Prasanna Kumar D, President, ICAI, said, "The Management Development Programme for CA Rank Holders is a visionary initiative of the Institute, which was introduced in 2019 with the objective of nurturing our brightest talents beyond academic excellence. This programme aims to empower CA rankers with leadership capabilities, strategic thinking and managerial acumen, enabling them to take on leadership roles in the near future. We firmly believe that today's rank holders are tomorrow's leaders and through such initiatives, we are committed to shaping well-rounded professionals who will contribute meaningfully towards nation building". Post the programme, certificates were awarded to participants in the presence of CA. Arpit Kabra, Convenor, ICAI Placement Directorate; CA. Rajesh Sharma, Deputy Convenor, ICAI Placement Directorate; CA. Babu Abraham Kallivayalil, Central Council Member, ICAI, Dr. Sudershan Kuntluru, Dean – Executive Education & Professor of Finance and Accounting, IIM Kozhikode, along with senior faculty of IIM Kozhikode. The initiative reflects ICAI's continued efforts to develop Chartered Accountants as future-ready professionals and leaders, capable of contributing effectively to the evolving global business environment.
